Meet The Team
Welcome to Bill Brundage Jewelers, conveniently located near the intersection of Chenoweth Lane and Shelbyville Road in St. Matthews, Kentucky.
We aim to satisfy each individual customer. Instead of Internet sales which lack personal touch and have overwhelming options with limited capabilities, unlike them we establish ourselves in the community with brick-and-mortar. We have hardworking team members who each bring something unique to the table. All are dedicated to do the best work and will stop at nothing to make each customer's request possible.
Brenda’s career in the jewelry industry began in 1979. Brenda is certified in GIA (Gemological Institute of America) Diamonds and Diamond Grading. She is our go-to for cad design (computer custom design) and redesigning of all types of jewelry. Brenda loves working with her sister, Teresa, most days and has been part of the Brundage family since 1995.
Joseph F. Kremer
Joe Kremer is a Certified Master Bench Jeweler working in the Garden Level of our store. His title was earned after extensive testing of his skills by Jewelers of America. Joe was the first jeweler in Kentucky to earn this title and the ninth in the country. Mr. Kremer has over 40 years’ experience in a field where experience is everything.
Besides making and repairing jewelry, Joe has won a number of awards for jewelry design including two international awards by the AGTA (American Gem Trade Association) for design and manufacturing. In his spare time Mr. Kremer makes wine cork art and plays a mean game of racquetball. Joe speaks several languages, all of them English.
Mary Kay Monohan
Mary Kay Monohan has been a long term employee and currently serves as our bookkeeper. In her nearly 30 years at Brundage Jewelers, she has worked in sales, restringing, appraisals, and bookkeeping. She has studied Gemology and has earned the title of Registered Jeweler with the American Gem Society*. Mary Kay is known as a jack-of-all-trades, Brundage Jewelers is happy to be one of the trades!
David has been a bench jeweler for 20 years and has been with Brundage for two of those years. David graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor’s in Art History. He has been awarded copyright for one of his ring designs. David is critical to the running of Brundage Jewelers and between he and Joe, they are the reasons we are able to do all work in-house.
Heath brings 29 years of appraisal expertise with her to the Brundage team. Heath is a Graduate Gemologist from GIA (Gemological Institute of America) and has completed the full coursework from AGS (American Gemological Society) for Certified Gemology Appraisals*.
